Job summary

Knix seeks an Allocator to lead the initial and ongoing distribution of inventory across stores, e-commerce, and emerging channels. Reporting to the Replenishment & Allocation team, you will ensure in-stock performance and revenue through smart allocation decisions.

You’ll analyse data, balance stock across CA/US stores and distribution centers, and collaborate with merchandising, planning, and operations to optimize flow and efficiency in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail allocation, merchandising, planning, or inventory management.
  • Strong retail math and key metrics (sell-through, in-stock, GM, turnover).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with allocation systems is a plus.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Own initial and ongoing store allocations across channels.
  • Execute allocation strategies for seasonal launches and new products.
  • Balance inventory across stores, DCs (CA & US), and channels including e-commerce.
  • Monitor sales performance, sell-through, and inventory levels to guide reallocations.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Planning, and Replenishment to align with demand forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and optimize SKU distribution.
  • Maintain allocation systems and reporting for accuracy and speed.
  • Provide reporting and insights on inventory movement and allocation effectiveness.

As an Allocator, you’ll be responsible for the initial distribution and ongoing flow of inventory across stores, e-commerce, and emerging channels. Reporting to the Replenishment & Allocation team, you’ll ensure inventory is deployed effectively to maximize in-stock performance, sales, and inventory productivity across all channels.

  • Balance inventory across stores, distribution centers (CA & US), and channels including e-commerce, Amazon, and wholesale
  • Monitor sales performance, sell‑through, and inventory levels to make timely reallocation and transfer recommendations for stores
  • Partner with Merchandising, Planning, and Replenishment to align allocations with assortment and demand forecasts
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve in‑stock performance, reduce excess inventory, and optimize size and SKU distribution
  • Maintain allocation systems, tools, and reporting to ensure accuracy, speed, and consistency
  • Provide clear reporting and insights on inventory movement, store performance, and allocation effectiveness
  • Previous experience in retail allocation, merchandising, planning, or inventory management
  • Strong understanding of retail math and key metrics (sell‑through, in‑stock, WOS, inventory turn, GM)
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with allocation or inventory systems is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, and evolving environment
  • $62,000 CAD annual salary and up
