Job summary

Algonquin Wolves Varsity is seeking a reliable videographer to document varsity soccer, volleyball, and basketball games. You will own and operate camera equipment, capturing key plays from start to finish while avoiding interference with gameplay.

The role requires turning around edited videos within 48 hours and availability for all varsity home games. Experience in sports videography and a strong portfolio are preferred, with a focus on detail and creativity.

Desired Results of the Position:

• Produce quality and engaging video content that could be used for a variety of purposes ranging from but not limited to; social media promotion and Awards night video.

Nature and Scope

Reporting to the Manager, Athletic Operations - Varsity, the varsity Videographer has a keen eye for documenting the team’s highs and lows through their season, game by game. Provide videos for varsity soccer, volleyball and basketball games, capturing the essence of the sport.

Job Duties

• Owns a camera and has access to the necessary equipment.
• Captures the many plays of a game from start to finish.
• Positions themselves accordingly so as not to interfere with game play.
• Ability to turn over videos within 48 hours.
• Available to attend all varsity home games.
• Other duties as assigned.
