Job summary

PrimeFlight is seeking a Ramp Agent to load/unload baggage, cargo, and mail, and guide aircraft to gates. You will ensure secure handling on the ground in line with safety standards and airline guidelines, supporting smooth airport operations. Training is provided during orientation and ramp-specific sessions.

Candidates must be 18+, legally eligible to work in Canada, and able to obtain a RAIC. Flexibility for nights/weekends is required due to 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must possess a valid, provincially issued permanent driver’s license (e.g., Class 5 or Class G).
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Ability to access and interpret information on print and electronic devices.
  • Eligible to pass a background check and obtain RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card).
  • Airlines operate 24/7; shifts include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
  • Operate ground service equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts).
  • Read and analyze load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
  • Marshal aircraft to and from gates; ensure safe ground movement.
  • Follow safety protocols and airline regulations; work in a fast-paced team.
  • Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities; maintain clean work areas.
