Job summary

Paladin Airport Security Services Ltd. at Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is hiring Pre-Board Screening Officers. You will screen passengers, handle baggage checks, and ensure safety and smooth travel experiences while complying with all regulations.

Requirements include high-volume customer service experience, open availability, strong English, potential French asset, and eligibility for CATSA medicals. Training is paid and leads to full certification with benefits and a uniform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Open availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong English communication; French is an asset.
• Able to comply with CATSA medical requirements.
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident; Victoria resident.
• Must be a resident of Victoria or surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Screen passengers and baggage at airport security checkpoints.
• Scan and test baggage for prohibited items using X-ray and detectors.
• Protect restricted areas and manage conflicts.
• Communicate clearly and effectively; uphold regulations.
