Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking Facilitators to support passengers at YUL Airport in Montreal, Dorval, Quebec. You will deliver exceptional customer service, assisting travelers with mobility, hearing, or visual needs and guiding them through screening processes.

This role requires strong empathy and bilingual English/French communication. You will collaborate with screening officers, adapt to diverse needs, and stay informed about accessibility initiatives such as the Sunflower Lanyard program.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 3 years of customer service experience.
• Strong empathy, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is required to effectively serve an international clientele.
• Ability to adapt to different customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ability to assist passengers with reduced mobility.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work on-site at YUL in Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers
• Support travellers with special needs, including mobility, hearing, or visual assistance
• Guide passengers through the screening process when needed
• Clearly explain screening procedures and available options
• Assist passengers with personal belongings, medical devices, and sensitive items
• Provide communication tools adapted to visually impaired passengers
• Collaborate closely with screening officers and airport stakeholders
• Proactively identify passengers who may require additional support
• Stay informed on accessibility initiatives, including the Sunflower Lanyard program
