SSP Canada in Mississauga, operating inside Toronto Pearson airport, is seeking a Line Cook for full-time hours. You will follow recipes, prepare dishes, and ensure the kitchen is organized so the team has tools and ingredients ready.

The position pays $24.56/hour and includes an employee meal plan and comprehensive benefits. A Food Handler permit, 1 year of food service experience, and English proficiency are required, with potential Transport Canada security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in food service.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication essential.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, check portions and garnishes, present dishes.
• Handle, store and rotate stored products properly.
• Ensure regular maintenance, cleaning and proper functioning of equipment.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Put utensils in place, clean and tidy workspace and storage areas.
• Perform general cleanings to meet hygiene standards.
