Aerotek, based in Calgary, AB, is recruiting for an Aircraft Structural Technician to join its production team on-site. You will assemble sheet metal wings, read blueprints, and complete work orders while documenting tasks accurately.

The role requires precise rivet, drill, and dimpling work and adherence to manufacturing standards. The position operates on multiple shifts in a fully onsite Calgary facility, with a travel package included and a focus on quality and safety in a growing aerospace

Job Description

You will work on the production floor in a specialized cell dedicated to building aircraft wings. Your role will predominantly involve assembling sheet metal wings using riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling techniques. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints and completing work orders as tasks are completed. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Work Environment

• The position is located in Northeast Calgary, close to local amenities.

• The work schedule includes various shifts:

• Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM,

• Afternoons from Monday to Thursday from 2 PM to 1:30 AM

• Weekends from Friday to Monday starting at 6 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
