Aerotek is seeking an Aircraft Structural Technician to assemble sheet metal wings on the production floor in Calgary, AB. You will rivet, drill, countersink, seal, deburr, bond, and prime dimpling operations while reading blueprints and completing work orders. Relocation assistance is provided for out-of-area applicants.

Typical shifts vary, with a contract position on-site in Calgary. Experience with aircraft wings and structural assemblies is essential for success in this role.

Aircraft Structural Technician

You will work on the production floor in a specialized cell dedicated to building aircraft wings. Your role will predominantly involve assembling sheet metal wings using riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling techniques. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints and completing work orders as tasks are completed. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Work Environment

The position is located in Northeast Calgary, close to local amenities. The work schedule includes various shifts: Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, afternoons from Monday to Thursday from 2 PM to 1:30 AM, and weekends from Friday to Monday starting at 6 AM. The environment fosters a dynamic and engaging atmosphere, perfect for those passionate about aviation. Relocation package included for anyone outside of Calgary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
