Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Mechanic to join our team working on an aircraft conversion program and heavy maintenance. This role primarily focuses on converting Q400 aircraft for aerial firefighting, involving basic mechanical tasks such as engine checks, wheel changes, structural inspections, and repairs. This is a long-term, full-time contracting position with opportunities to work in different divisions and facilities.

We prioritize hiring full-time staff from our pool of contractors.
The team consists of a lead hand, multiple mechanics, contractors, avionics specialists, and structures technicians working collaboratively. Shifts are typically Monday to Friday, with 10-hour days from 6AM to 4:15PM, occasionally including overtime on Saturdays. Basic tooling is required, and you will work under rotating team leads.
The pay range for this position is $52.50 - $55.00/hr.
This is a fully onsite position in Abbotsford,BC.
