Job summary

D.O.M. magazine seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to join our Abbotsford, BC team on a long-term, full-time contracting basis. You will perform heavy maintenance, engine checks, and participate in aircraft conversions to aerial firefighting configurations, working with a diverse team.

Primary duties include wheel changes, structural inspections, and applying basic tooling. Must have Dash 8 Q400 experience and other regional turboprops, with a proven hands-on maintenance background in varied shifts.

Qualifications

Work Environment

The team consists of a lead hand, multiple mechanics, contractors, avionics specialists, and structures technicians working collaboratively. Shifts are typically Monday to Friday, with 10-hour days from 6AM to 4:15PM, occasionally including overtime on Saturdays. Basic tooling is required, and you will work under rotating team leads.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.50 - $55.00/hr.
