Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to service, inspect, repair and perform heavy maintenance to aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Reporting to the Crew Chief and Heavy Production Manager, you will work on both planned and unscheduled tasks and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

The role requires a Transport Canada AME Licence with M2, E, S ratings, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.
• Must obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances.
• Experience working on a line or heavy maintenance environment is required.
• Transport Canada AME Licence with an “M2, E, S” ratings required.

Job description

Position Summary

Reporting to both the Crew Chief and the Heavy Production Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, repairing and performing heavy mechanical maintenance to an aircraft before it is considered airworthy.

Working Conditions

• Physically able to perform all listed job duties
• Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
• Work in a shop environment with full range of movement including, but not limited to, bending, sitting, standing, lifting to a maximum of 50lbs, pushing and pulling daily
