Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to support servicing, inspection and repair work to ensure airworthiness. The role reports to the Crew Chief and Maintenance Manager, and requires strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork.

The position emphasizes safe, compliant maintenance, the ability to work in a dynamic environment, and the capacity to interrelate with First Nations communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
• Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance on aircraft
• Marshal and tow aircraft
• Reconfigure aircraft interiors from passenger to cargo to medivac
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Crew Chief and the Maintenance Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, repairing and performing mechanical maintenance to an aircraft before it is considered airworthy.

Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications

Working Conditions

• Physically able to perform all listed job duties
• Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
• Work in a shop environment with full range of movement including, but not limited to, bending, sitting, standing, lifting to a maximum of 50lbs, pushing and pulling daily
