Job summary

Allin Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M1) licensed mechanic with experience in small aircraft to join our team in Ontario. The AME will perform planned and unplanned maintenance in compliance with CARs and company procedures.

The role requires availability to work weekends, strong teamwork, and solid communication skills, with overtime opportunities and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

  • Must hold valid Transport Canada AME M1 license.
  • Experience on general aviation M1 aircraft and systems.
  • Available to work weekends.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Knowledge of CARs regulations.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on our fleet per CARs.
  • Perform inspections of airframes, engines and components.
  • Ensure procedures comply with industry and internal standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and manuals.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe hangar.

We are looking for a driven, full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer “M1” who is a Licensed Mechanic with experience in small aircraft. The AME is responsible for conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on aircrafts and requires an M1 license to be successful.

Position Overview

This position is a full-time, permanent position with working schedule of 40 hours per week with weekend scheduling. Overtime is available.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures
  • Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines and components
  • Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, etc.
  • Maintaining an organized, clean and safe hangar environment
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Transport Canada AME M1 license
  • Experience working on general aviation M1 aircraft and systems
  • Available to work weekends
  • Computer proficiency
  • Knowledge in CARs regulations
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
