Job summary

AME in Ontario is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy maintenance checks on regional aircraft. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules, resources, and quality, ensuring safety and compliance across all phases.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate with production, stores, and purchasing to meet milestones and deliverables. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential for success in a fast-paced aviation

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on heavy maintenance checks and project management responsibilities.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead heavy maintenance projects from pre-check planning through post-check debriefing.
Coordinate with planners, supervisors, and crew chiefs to establish milestones and resource needs.
Drive daily communications, track progress, and manage snag lists, parts, and tooling.
Oversee RTS and ensure proper documentation, records, and approvals.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members and interface with internal departments.
