Job summary

AAA Canada in Mirabel, QC, is seeking an Airplane Version Heads Lead (CPD VM) to join the Program Management team. You will drive good project management practices in the Fulfill Customer Order (FCO) process within Cabin and FCO contexts, coordinating with engineering, methods, quality, purchasing and suppliers.

Ideal candidates hold a PM/Engineering degree, 8+ years in PM/Program PM, and strong leadership with bilingual French-English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Leadership qualities with strong influence.
• Technical background in aircraft development and commercial operations; strong organizational skills.
• Experience in aeronautics is ideal.
• Advanced skills with Google Suite; min 8 years in PM/Program PM.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead FCO core team meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
• Track action progress and manage escalations; monitor milestones and fleet status.
• Identify and address process discrepancies to maintain operational excellence.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary groups including engineering, quality, purchasing and suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate and implement risk mitigation across fleet lifecycle.
• Oversee MSCNs implementation on version heads to maintain compliance.
• Capture lessons learned across functions to improve performance.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for an Airplane Version Heads Lead (CPD VM) to join our Program Management team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the Project and Portfolio Management team for Cabin and FCO, and will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of good project management practices in the context of the FCO (Fulfill Customer Order) process.

• Lead FCO core team meetings to ensure alignment and progress;
• Track action progress and manage escalations to appropriate channels; Monitor and report quality control checkpoints, milestones, and fleet status; Forward escalations through appropriate channels to ensure rapid resolution; Ensure compliance with the FCO process in all functional areas;
• Identify and address process discrepancies to maintain operational excellence;
• Collect and align stakeholder information for consistent project execution;
• Set up multidisciplinary working groups, internal and external to the company, including engineering, methods, quality, purchasing, and suppliers;
• Identify, evaluate, and orchestrate risk mitigation plans throughout the fleet life cycle;
• Monitor the evolving complexity of version heads and orchestrate appropriate actions and measures;
• Oversee the implementation of MSCNs on version heads to maintain compliance;
• Foster the integration and consolidation of change requests impacting version heads and the fleet;
• Consolidate and ensure the quality of milestones and quality control point documentation;
• Capture and implement lessons learned across functions to improve performance;
• Ensure plan quality through the implementation of performance indicators and rule tracking.

Required Requirements:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or the equivalent;
• You have leadership qualities and demonstrate a high level of influence;
• You have a technical background in aircraft development and commercial operations; You have organizational skills, time management, and autonomy;
• Ideally, you have experience and interest in aeronautics;
• You have advanced skills with the Google suite. You have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management and/or program management;
• You have good analytical, planning, and problem-management skills;
• You have an open mind with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate a high ability to work in a team;
• You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
• You have advanced skills with the Google suite.
