Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an Air Emissions and Reporting Analyst in Canada to support air and GHG emissions inventories, government submissions, and data-driven regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with multiple internal groups and external agencies to ensure accurate reporting and continuous improvement across emissions programs.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and delivering high-quality data amidst evolving regulatory requirements, with a hybrid work model in Canada, the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Data Analytics or similar applicable degree; or a technical diploma in a related field
  • 4+ years of technical or operational experience within pipelines, energy or power related facilities
  • Registered, or eligible to register, with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good-standing

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of air and GHG emissions inventories and the preparation of government mandated compliance submissions
  • Work with internal TC Energy groups to collect and compile activity data and metrics
  • Collaborate with internal (field operations, business units, corporate functions) and external stakeholders (e.g. regulatory agencies) to provide emissions data and context, and in reviewing policy and regulatory changes
  • Support the development and implementation of tools, systems, and processes to collect, manage and calculate operational emissions data consistent with regulatory and corporate standards
  • Develop strategies for process improvement and innovation through deployment of integrated programming and automation solutions
  • Participate in, and support operational teams with, the review and third-party verification of emissions-related data
  • Support internal and external disclosures of emissions-related data
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture related to process and procedures, supporting efficiency, consistency and data quality efforts
