Job summary

Cargojet in Calgary, Canada, is seeking a Ground Handler to operate equipment safely, load and unload aircraft, and move packages for our overnight air cargo network. You will work outdoors in all weather, meet tight deadlines, and adhere to safety and security protocols.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, valid Class 5 driver’s licence, ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly, and willingness to obtain a RAIC security clearance. Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance).
• Ability to lift to 60lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Loading/offloading of aircrafts and trucks.
• Operating ground support equipment.
• Repeated and continuous lifting of packages up to 60lbs.
• Sort packages based on customer, airport of destination, and other parameters.
• Communicate counts and package information to leads and supervisors.
• Handle customer packages with care and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform housekeeping and support safety procedures.
