Roofmart is seeking an Assistant - Mechanic to service the fleet of 70+ tractors, booms, cranes, trailers, forklifts, and service vehicles. You may travel locally for breakdowns and perform diesel engine and hydraulic repairs, welding, and inspections per company standards.

Two years in a similar role are preferred; mechanical certifications and laptop troubleshooting experience are assets. Roofmart values safety and reliability in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Mechanical certifications are an asset.
• Experience with laptop troubleshooting software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on the fleet.
• They may travel locally when a breakdown occurs.
• Repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• They weld metal; aluminum welding is an asset.
• They complete work and inspection orders per company standards.
• They perform other related tasks as requested.

Job Responsibilities

• Effectuer la réparation et l’entretien de la flotte.
• La personne peut avoir à se déplacer localement sur la route quand un bris survient.
• Effectuer la réparation des moteurs diesel et les systèmes hydrauliques.
• Souder le métal (expérience en soudure sur aluminium est un atout)
• Compléter les bons de travail et d’inspection en respectant les normes et procédures établies par l’entreprise.
• Accomplir sur demande toute autre tâche connexe à sa fonction

Schedule: Monday to Friday 11 AM to 8 PM

Horaire: lundi au vendredi de 11h à 20h
