Job summary

Roofmart is seeking a Driver - Crane to safely load, move and deliver products across locations, maintaining clean work environments in store, yard, and trucks. The role requires operating a crane, performing pre-operational inspections, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Candidates must have valid Class 1 or 3 licences, 1–2 years of experience, and training on load securement; forklift experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 1 or 3 Licence
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the field
• Load securement training (can be provided)
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
• First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

Responsabilités professionnelles

• Charger, déplacer et livrer les produits en toute sécurité
• Effectuer les inspections pré opérationnelles, les listes de vérification d’entretien, ainsi que le nettoyage et la lubrification de la grue
• Maintenir des environnements de travail propres et organisés dans le magasin, la cour et les camions
• Respecter strictement toutes les règles, réglementations et lois en matière de santé et sécurité
• Accomplir toute autre tâche au besoin

Qualifications professionnelles

• Détenir une assurance valide, un permis de conduire commercial de classe 1 ou 3
• Doit posséder 1 à 2 ans d'expérience dans le domaine.
• Formation à l’arrimage des charges (formation sur place)
• Expérience en conduite de chariot élévateur, un atout (formation sur place)
• Carte de compétence ASP construction, un atout
• De solides compétences en matière de service à la clientèle
• La connaissance du secteur de la réfection de toitures, un atout
• Toute expérience cohérente, un atout
• Autorisation de travailler au Canada
