Job summary

WEPOINT Canada Développement seeks an AI Technical Lead to guide AI adoption, design AI-enabled solutions, and collaborate across teams to enhance software delivery. The role focuses on integrating AI with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure, while evaluating emerging AI technologies for practical applications.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent professional experience in software development, solution architecture, or technical leadership in enterprise applications.
• Two years of AI capabilities design, prototyping, evaluation, or integration in software.
• Three years of experience with Microsoft cloud tech: Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform or related.
• Experience designing/integrating solutions using REST APIs, SDKs, cloud services or other integration technologies.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with leadership and knowledge transfer.
• Ability to use automation/AI tools to improve at least two lifecycle domains.
• Eligible for Reliability Clearance (five+ years of verifiable background).
• Excellent English communication; based in Ottawa.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in AI to support adoption and practical improvements in development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design and develop AI-enabled solutions integrating with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and APIs.
• Prototype and evaluate emerging AI technologies for Scrum team use cases.
• Explore generative AI, AI agents, and AI-assisted development in engineering workflows.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve testing and quality engineering.
• Improve DevOps and deployment processes through AI-assisted automation.
• Establish reusable technical approaches and components across applications.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders for integration.
• Assess AI solutions from architecture, security, privacy, reliability, and maintainability perspectives before production.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to strengthen AI capabilities.
• Monitor AI developments and recommend relevant technologies for applications and delivery.
