Job summary

We seek students currently enrolled in a Co-op program pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields with a strong interest in AI governance, Databricks, and practical applications in energy services.

Qualifications

• Registered Co-op program enrollment and pursuing a relevant degree.
• Interest or experience in AI agents, automation, Copilot tools, and practical AI applications.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work across departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of AI governance and responsible AI practices is a plus.
• Experience using Databricks for data analysis or AI-enabled workflows is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help build, test, and support AI agents, automation workflows, and AI-powered tools used across the business.
• Translate business needs and department workflows into practical AI-enabled solutions.
• Assist with AI use cases such as support, analytics, forecasting, compliance, reporting, internal knowledge search, and chatbot or assistant-style tools.
• Integrate approved AI tools with systems, data sources, workflows, and documentation repositories where appropriate.
• Create training materials, process documentation, user guides, adoption resources, and knowledge-sharing content.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to deliver high-impact use cases and support enterprise AI rollout.
• Contribute to reusable AI frameworks, prompt patterns, workflow templates, and automation practices that can be extended across Rodan.
• Participate in structured onboarding and learning with tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Use Databricks where appropriate to support data analysis, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled business use cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a registered Co-op program and working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related program.
• Experience or strong interest in AI agents, automation, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts with interest in real-world applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support multiple departments.
• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of AI governance and responsible AI best practices.
• Experience or interest in using Databricks for data analysis, reporting, automation, or AI-enabled workflows is an asset.

Term Details, Compensation & Work Location

• Term: January 2027– April 2027(4-month co-op term)
• Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity
• Schedule: 40-hour work week
• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in-office
