Job summary

Coveo Solutions Inc. seeks a Development Manager to lead multiple teams within our Explore organization, delivering AI-powered search and recommendation capabilities. You will guide teams through architecture and design reviews while promoting ownership and accountability.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Applied Science to ship impactful capabilities, coach engineers, and help evolve our R&D organization through cross-team planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Development Manager leading two or more distinct software development teams.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to understand, review, and discuss production code.
• Experience building Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and adapt your leadership approach to teams with different levels of maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead two or more software development teams working on strategic initiatives within our Explore organization.
• Adapt your leadership style to the maturity, autonomy, and needs of each team while fostering ownership and accountability.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Applied Science, and Engineering leaders to deliver impactful AI-powered capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews when appropriate.
• Coach and develop engineers, supporting their career growth while building a healthy and high-performing engineering culture.
• Help shape the evolution of our R&D organization by contributing to cross-team collaboration, planning, and continuous improvement.
