Job summary

Coveo Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior II Backend Developer to join the R&D's Backend Foundation team, shaping core services and tooling for scalable software delivery. You will own reference libraries, drive patterns used by microservices, and partner with cloud infra teams across AWS deployments.

As a senior contributor, you will mentor teams, tackle complex backend challenges, and help expand our golden paths and platform capabilities to support AI-enhanced development and deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend experience in cloud environments.
• Experience designing reusable libraries or tooling for large-scale systems.
• Strong collaboration, mentoring, and cross-team influence.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve reference libraries, tools, and development patterns used by microservices.
• Develop and operate the internet-facing API gateway service.
• Act as a trusted technical partner to development teams and guide engineering practices.
• Collaborate across development and cloud infrastructure teams to improve the platform.
• Assess health, performance, and risks; drive reliability and scalability improvements.
• Take ownership from design to deployment and operation in production.
• Expand golden paths and platform capabilities to support AI-assisted development.
