Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-speaking contributors to help train AI models via live conversations, image and video comparisons, and careful review of outputs. This freelance, remote role offers flexible hours and the ability to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.

You’ll assess naturalness, clarity, and usefulness, document evidence-based explanations in English, and rate AI outputs across adherence, quality, and realism.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication
• Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred or required
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in to verify issues
• Comfortable speaking through realistic scenarios in a natural, conversational way
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews
• Ability to make clear decisions when options have flaws

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard
