Outlier is seeking English-speaking contributors to help train AI models through live conversations and evaluation tasks. This remote, flexible freelance role fits around your schedule.

You will rate AI outputs on naturalness, usefulness, and clarity, and provide concise written explanations in English. Prior experience in reviewing or critiquing media is valued, with competitive hourly rates and additional incentive opportunities based on project performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then rank how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn’t match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
