Job summary

Amii in Canada is launching a 12-month Machine Learning Residency with client Trufla Technology. You will work on cutting-edge AI systems with expert mentorship from Amii scientists and collaborate with insurers to develop hybrid deterministic-agentic AI solutions.

The role emphasizes ML research, LLMs, and retrieval-augmented reasoning, with opportunities to join the client after completion and to contribute to multiple knowledge streams.

Qualifications

• Experience in ML and generative AI to solve real world business problems.
• Expertise in LLM, RAG, and AI agents.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git version control, containerization, CI/CD, and cloud computing.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and evaluate AI agents tailored for platform operations automation and predictive modeling.
• Develop event-driven AI agents triggered by platform actions (such as risk profile creation or modification).
• Architect and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Ensure pipelines work within deterministic business guardrails.
• Build predictive models that capture market trends.
• Conduct applied research on multi-agent architectures to coordinate and deploy AI agents.
• Collaborate with project team and stakeholders to develop MVPs and client-focused solutions.
• Engage in regular client meetings, standups, prepare presentations and reports on progress.
• Optimize ML pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and real-time processing.
