Amii is hiring a Machine Learning Scientist – Advanced Technology in downtown Edmonton to lead applied ML projects for industry partners and mentor junior staff. You will bridge fundamental ML with business needs, guiding clients in AI adoption and delivering innovative solutions that advance industry capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS with ML specialization and applied ML experience.
• 2+ years developing, training, and evaluating ML models in industry.
• Experience with reinforcement learning is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead applied ML projects for industry partners from inception to delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and guide project work.
• Translate academic research into practical industry solutions.
