Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC in Markham, Canada, is seeking an Interim Engineering Intern - SW to contribute to AI and mobility research. You will work on profiling tools, optimize machine learning models, and adapt neural networks for Qualcomm platforms under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Experience with C++ or Python programming.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related engineering or CS field with available May/June 2027 – August/September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Build software tools for profiling and debugging for neural networks deployment.
• Enhance AI system performance across Qualcomm hardware/software platforms.
• Adapt neural network models for real-world customer applications on Qualcomm platforms.
• Optimize algorithms for ML operators and layers within Qualcomm's AI stack.
• Maintain and extend testing infrastructure and automation for AI/ML backend features.
