Job summary

Google Waterloo is seeking a Technical Solutions Development Manager, Compute, to lead AI infrastructure support for enterprise customers. You will own complex issues, reproduce problems, and build tooling to accelerate investigations in a 24x7 global setting.

You will also mentor engineers, collaborate with Product and Development teams, and drive operational excellence to improve reliability and customer outcomes across hardware and software boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• 13 years of experience reading and debugging code in general-purpose languages and in virtualization/orchestration frameworks.
• Troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and performance boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and own customer escalations end to end.
• Develop tooling to accelerate investigations of AI/ML infra issues.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to drive improvements.
• Lead and mentor team members for rapid issue resolution.
• Drive operational excellence and customer-focused outcomes.
