Job summary

AltaML Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer who works AI-first by default, using Claude Code and AltaML's shared libraries to design, build, test, and review software.

You will own small-to-medium user stories end-to-end, implement features, fix bugs, write automated tests, and participate in code reviews, while learning AltaML/AltaForge libraries and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with an AI coding assistant (Claude Code or similar).
• Strong fundamentals in testing, Git, and at least one programming language (Python/TypeScript/C#).

Responsibilities

• Develop small-to-medium feature stories end to end.
• Write automated tests and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and collaboration.
• Learn AltaML/AltaForge libraries and make technical choices independently.
