Job summary

NEOGOV is seeking an AI-First Lead Software Engineer for a remote role spanning US and Canada. You will orchestrate a development team for a major Power division SaaS product, using Claude Code and related AI tools to shape architecture and logic.

Required are 8+ years in web apps with C#, .NET, SQL, and cloud tech; Angular/JS/HTML5; AWS and PostgreSQL. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience developing web applications with C#, .NET, SQL and cloud tech.
• Strong experience with Angular, HTML5 and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with AWS, Terraform and PostgreSQL is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI-first development team for a key Power division SaaS product.
• Architect software focusing on architecture, logic and intent over syntax.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud applications.
