Job summary

Procurify is seeking an Engineering Manager, AI Engineering to lead the AI engineering team and drive the platform's intelligence layer using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.

You'll be a player-coach, balancing hands‑on technical work with people leadership while shaping architecture, strategy, and delivery across product, platform, and security partners. This is a remote-first role within Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams.
• 3-5+ years building AI-powered products or platforms in production.
• Proven player-coach leadership in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AI Engineers with coaching for technical excellence and growth.
• Act as player-coach in architecture reviews, prototyping, and critical implementation work.
• Drive delivery of AI-powered platform capabilities with clear success metrics.
• Define AI strategy and align with Product, Platform, and Security partners.
• Balance innovation with execution and maintain engineering quality and governance.
