Job summary

Fasken seeks a Legal Technology Lawyer – AI Enablement to accelerate practical AI adoption within corporate and litigation practice groups. The role trains lawyers, provides real-time support, and coordinates with Knowledge and Practice Innovation to embed AI into daily workflows.

The successful candidate will blend legal experience with technology to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and ensure governance. Fluency in English (French a plus) is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with legal tech, AI applications and practical AI uses in law.
• Strong interest in applying AI to standardize legal workflows.
• Ability to facilitate group training, sessions and workshops.
• Knowledge of practice tools and general AI applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local contact to lead change management for adopting legal AI solutions.
• Attend practice group meetings to build relationships and communicate benefits.
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and real-time support to lawyers.
• Deliver matter-based training for immediate AI use on key workflows.
• Offer office hours and targeted coaching to accelerate adoption.
• Support AI usage in live matters, including troubleshooting.
• Reinforce safe use standards and professional judgment in AI use.
• Collaborate with AI Learning Counsel and L&D to design training programs.
• Work with other Legal Tech peers to promote best practices across the Firm.
• Identify high-value AI use cases to improve efficiency and client value.
• Capture insights from live matters to inform rollout and improvement.
• Participate in requirements gathering and planning for AI workflows.
