Job summary

Intact seeks a detail-oriented Vendor Management Analyst to join its Tech+Lab Expense & Vendor Management team. You will manage vendor relationships, drive contract savings, and support executive governance forums for strategic, cost-effective decisions.

You will lead renewal processes, analyze spend, and prepare reports for senior leadership, with a focus on AI-assisted reviews and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work model offered in Canada.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance & Accounting, or Information Technology is required.
• Minimum 3-years experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or IT expense management is required.
• Advanced proficiency level: Excel and Oracle ERP is required.
• Knowledge in IT accounting and reporting framework and Power BI experience is an asset.
• Experience supporting executive governance forums or preparing materials for senior leadership review.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying and delivering cost savings.
• Familiarity with contract management principles, SLA frameworks, and negotiation strategies.
• Experience with or strong interest in AI-powered tools for contract analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required due to interaction with English-speaking colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a contract renewal pipeline, identifying renewals 3-6 months in advance for strategic planning.
• Prepare and present contract renewal packages, negotiation strategies, and vendor recommendations for executive review.
• Drive cost savings and spend optimization by analyzing vendor contracts and identifying consolidation opportunities.
• Maintain the vendor management Power BI dashboard with up-to-date spend and renewal timelines.
• Conduct AI-assisted contract reviews to surface opportunities, SLA highlights, and negotiation insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align vendor strategies with business goals.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for VP and Director stakeholders.
• Contribute to development and improvement of vendor management policies and playbooks.
• Serve as escalation point for vendor disputes and invoicing issues.
