Job summary

Aviva Canada seeks a Vendor Relationship Manager to drive continuous improvement of vendor KPIs, manage vendor outsourcing risks, and use data to deliver better customer experiences.

You will work with Procurement, Legal and cross-functional teams to oversee contract evaluations, identify savings opportunities, and lead tool development while coordinating vendor efforts during major events. Hybrid work model supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Relationship Management, Vendor Management, Account Management, or similar roles.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
• Degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-to-insights translation.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for vendor-related inquiries.
• Track, develop and analyze data to assess vendor performance; identify trends and gaps to improve metrics.
• Resolve appropriate vendor coverage and assist with negotiations of vendor agreements.
• Use financial data to identify savings opportunities and build detailed business plans.
• Lead development of tools and templates to support the ongoing strategy.
• Coordinate vendor-related efforts during catastrophic events with reporting needs.
• Participate in in-person client and team meetings (approx. 25% travel).
