Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Digital Technology Solutions group, focusing on Risk & Corporate Services. The role requires eliciting, analyzing, and validating business requirements, aligning data and technology solutions, and collaborating with product owners and delivery teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in business, IT or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience in a technology delivery environment.
Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile delivery models.
Experience supporting end-to-end solution delivery including backlog refinement, defect triage, RCA, and UAT.
Experience assessing impacts across systems, processes, and data, ensuring alignment with objectives.
Experience leveraging digital delivery platforms and analytics tools to support analysis, validation, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and user stories.
Identify dependencies, risks, and data implications to support informed decisions.
Validate outputs and ensure alignment with business rules and data standards, including AI-generated insights.
Engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and align priorities across teams.
Develop and maintain clear documentation for validation, traceability, and delivery.
Triage defects, perform RCA, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Frame problems for AI-enabled analysis and translate findings into actionable options.
