Job summary

Bluewater District School Board is seeking a Business Analyst to support AI and Data Strategy within ICT Services. The role partners with departments to drive digital transformation, gather requirements, and deliver analytics, dashboards, and governance solutions to improve decision-making.

The position is a permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week, onsite at the Education Centre, with salary range of $81,740 to $95,622 per year. Commencing as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, IT, Data Analytics, CS, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, data analytics, or digital transformation.
• Ability to meet position requirements, including attendance at Board sites and virtual meetings.
• Satisfactory Police Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Partner with departments to identify needs and transformation opportunities.
• Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and document processes.
• Lead cross-functional projects with vendors and consultants.
• Support AI strategy governance and responsible use framework.
• Identify AI, automation, and dashboard opportunities using data and risk checks.
• Develop training and adoption strategies for AI and data tools.
