Valnet is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Tech team in Montreal. You will design and deploy AI systems that streamline workflows across editorial, audience, and revenue teams, enabling scalable, production-ready solutions that drive measurable results.

This is a build-and-ship role where your work goes live, is used, and directly impacts performance. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential to succeed in fast-paced, data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of relevant experience in building and deploying AI-driven products or systems.
• Proven builder: products, systems, startups, or internal tools that shipped.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, agent frameworks, automation pipelines, and applied AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI agents that improve workflow efficiency and scalability.
• Design and integrate AI agents within existing infrastructure to reduce manual intervention and increase system-level efficiency.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and deploy production-ready systems.
• Measure impact through performance, efficiency, and revenue metrics.
• Continuously iterate based on live data and user feedback.
