Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Montreal is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Specialist to drive AI initiatives within the IT department, delivering high-performing, secure solutions aligned with operational needs and collaborating with business units and external partners.

You will design, develop, test and deploy AI solutions, assess tools, monitor performance, support adoption and ensure data protection and confidentiality in a retail context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, information systems or another related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Artificial Intelligence Specialist or in related field.
• Hands-on experience in implementation, maintenance and support.
• Experience and interest in the retail sector.
• French and English, spoken and written (external suppliers).

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of AI solutions aligned with the company’s technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with business units to understand needs, propose suitable AI solutions and contribute to their concrete implementation.
• Conduct analyses, prototypes, proofs of concept and AI experiments to validate the relevance of proposed solutions.
• Assess, compare and recommend AI tools, platforms and technologies while considering risks, costs and operational impacts.
• Monitor and support the use of AI solutions to ensure their performance, compliance and evolution.
