Job summary

Infosys is seeking an AI Full Stack Hands-on Architect who can act as a full-stack developer and architect in complex engineering projects. The role requires strong multi-technology proficiency, experience in generative AI model development and deployment, and the ability to lead AI initiatives across data science and software teams.

Location flexibility includes Calgary, Alberta, and Mississauga, Ontario, with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressive experience in lieu of education accepted.
• 7+ years of core development and architecture experience.
• Experience building and applying generative AI models.
• Strong ML fundamentals, DL architectures and NLP.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Design, develop and deploy generative AI models for various applications.
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for tasks and domains.
• Manage AI development lifecycle from data prep to deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to define project requirements.
• Stay updated on generative AI advances and contribute to AI capability improvements.
• Champion responsible AI, bias mitigation and explainability.
• Experience with Open-Source frameworks and tools.
• Write high-quality, performant code; perform code reviews and POCs.
• Experience in fast-paced, agile environments.

Infosys is looking for AI Full Stack Hands-on Architect who must be Polyglots with expertise in multiple technologies and can work as a full-stack developer & architect in complex engineering projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate.

• Minimum 7 years of core development & architecture experience.
• Strong Analysis and Design skills with deep expertise in core development, design & architect experience, implement design patterns, architecture patterns
• 2-3 years of experience in developing and applying generative AI models.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing (NLP)
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications, such as text generation, image creation, and code synthesis (depending on the specific focus of the company).
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Manage the entire AI development lifecycle, from data pre-processing and model training to evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements, ensure technical feasibility, and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in generative AI research and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI development practices, focusing on bias mitigation, fairness, and explainability.
• Experience in Open-Source frameworks and tools.
• Ability to write good quality and highly performant code.
• Evaluate and review performance aspects of new and existing code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure that quality is being maintained.
• Perform POCs for any new technologies that we may leverage.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in cloud-based platforms like OpenShift, AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Experience in Fine tuning Open-Source AI Models.
• Strong understanding of one or more Domain expertise and associated Industry standards.
• Industry-acclaimed External Certifications, if applicable.
• Active participation in Technology forums.
• Contribution to Open-Source Community.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidates will be:Ontario: CAD 112,000 to CAD 156,800.
