Job summary
Observe.AI in Toronto is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI Agents, from design to deployment and optimization. You will work hands-on with telephony integrations, prompt design, and API wiring, while engaging with customers through demos and technical guidance.
The role requires 3+ years in conversational AI, strong communication skills, and experience with LangChain, vector DBs, and iPaaS tools.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in conversational AI or AI/LLM-based solutions in customer environments.
- Strong ability to communicate and lead customer-facing discussions.
- Hands-on skills in prompt design, workflow building and API integration.
- Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with iPaaS tools and data flow management is a plus.
- Familiarity with telephony/voice systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI Agents, including prompt design and integrations.
- Lead client demos, gather feedback, and guide solutions to production.
- Configure systems via APIs, including data mapping and error handling.
- Set up telephony routing and ensure call quality.
- Collaborate with product/engineering to close platform gaps.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable technical plans.
