Job summary

Canada West Harvest Centre in Kindersley, Saskatchewan is seeking two Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join their team. After probation, employees will receive a comprehensive remuneration package including health, dental, disability and life insurance, plus an RRSP plan.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Overhaul motors, rebuild engines, rear ends, differentials and change out major components on farm equipment, heavy vehicles and trucks.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance including fluid and filter checks and changes, lubricating equipment and testing batteries.
• Attach components and adjust equipment.
• Operate equipment for testing purposes.
