Job description

Our Saskatoon branch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our service department as a Heavy Equipment Technician (also known as an agriculture equipment technician) for our Agriculture Division (John Deere).

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain all systems on agricultural equipment such as tractors, hay tools, and other ag & turf implements. This includes engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, air conditioning, guidance, and precision agriculture systems.
2. Repair, service, and diagnose agricultural equipment at the customer's site if needed.
3. Perform preventative maintenance inspections, including fluid and filter changes, testing equipment, and making adjustments for in-field optimization.
4. Recondition pre-owned equipment.
5. Accurately record notes on work orders for customer and warranty records.
