Placements24 is seeking an experienced Agricultural Supply Chain Manager to optimize the flow of goods from farm to market in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role covers procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution, with hybrid on-site and remote duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in supply chain management with agriculture exposure.
• Experience in logistics, procurement, inventory control, and distribution.
• Strong understanding of production cycles and market dynamics.
• Proficient in SCM software/ERP and strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies for agricultural products.
• Oversee procurement of farm inputs ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Optimize distribution channels for timely delivery to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, service providers, and stakeholders.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive cost savings.
• Implement and manage SCM technologies to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and transportation regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
