Job summary

OHS Feeding & Storage is seeking a motivated mechanic to join our Woodstock-based service team. The role covers diagnostic, service and preventative maintenance of branded storage and unloading equipment in agricultural settings, with on-site visits coordinated by the Service Manager.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical ability, fabrication experience, farm sector exposure, and a willingness to work outdoors, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High level of mechanical ability.
• Experience with cutting and fabrication of materials.
• Previous farm sector experience considered an asset.
• Electrical and/or hydraulic component experience considered an asset.
• Ability to work within a team-based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service.
• Available to work occasional weekend on-call schedule.
• Valid Class G driver’s license.
• Ability to mentor or guide junior employees.
• Interested in outdoor work for long periods, physically demanding.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions.

Our motivated team of 4 of service technicians is looking to add a skilled mechanic to the team. We are committed to offering tested, high-quality outdoor storage solutions that are proven to enhance our clients’ farms, business and communities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnostic, Service and Preventative Maintenance of OHS Feeding & Storage branded storage and unloader equipment/machinery in an Agricultural setting.


• Daily utilization of hand and power tools

Compensation

• starting wage is to be determined based on experience
