Job summary

Maritime John Deere dealership in Grand Falls, NB is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team. You will diagnose, service, and repair advanced agricultural equipment, with field service opportunities, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will work with John Deere and competitive products, perform maintenance in a neat, organized shop, and continually update your technical knowledge. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag equipment.
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Ability to use basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• Licensed Red Seal Heavy Equipment or Agricultural Technician preferred or presently pursuing this designation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• A clean, current driver abstract.

We’re looking for a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team in Grand Falls, NB.

Purpose

Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager.

Experience, Education, Skills And Knowledge

• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag equipment
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Ability to use basic computer functions
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Licensed Red Seal Heavy Equipment or Agricultural Technician preferred or presently pursuing this designation.
• Valid driver’s license required
