Job summary

RBC is seeking an Agile Flex Operator to support Payment and Trade Operations, handling inquiries and processing basic transactions with attention to detail.

You will assist in Trade, Wire Payments and Investigations, monitor settlement files, and ensure timely processing while learning RBC policies and procedures. A strong team focus and adaptable mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must-have: High School Education, be flexible and detail-oriented, time management and willingness to learn.
• Nice to have: Post-Secondary Education, knowledge of RBC products and services, experience in data entry and correction.
• Experience in banking operations and payments processing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries and complaints regarding banking products and services and perform basic service transactions.
• Support Payment and Trade Operations (PTO) functions including Trade, Wire Payments and Investigations.
• Monitor inbound/outbound payment files and ensure proper settlement with Payments Canada.
• Maintain timely processing of payment files and system monitoring.

Receives, investigates, and responds to all customer inquiries and complaints regarding banking products and services; processes basic bank service transactions. With extensive knowledge of the job and policies/practices, performs a wide range of advanced administrative/operational assignments.

What will you do?

The Agile Flex Operator is part of a dynamic team that will be trained to support numerous functions throughout Payment and Trade Operations (PTO), including:

• Trade
• Wire Payments
• Wire Investigations
• Day 2 DCP (Digital Check Processing) Investigations
• Settlement: Monitoring of Inbound and Outbound payment files between Financial Institutions to ensure proper financial Settlement and reporting with Payments Canada
• System Monitoring: To ensure timely processing of Payments Files
