Job summary

Stride Credit Union is hiring an Ag & Commercial Experience Administrator to support loan and business account administration for Account Managers, ensuring seamless member service from start to finish. This role covers opening business accounts, processing mortgages, loans and lines of credit, while following regulations.

The position runs 12-18 months with a training period that requires travel to Portage la Prairie and some travel to other Stride locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years in a financial institution or similar office environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and pivot as needed.
• Strong team player who helps the team succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Ag & Commercial lending team, ensuring files are complete and security is in place; manage follow-up, registrations and discharges, and setup/maintenance of payments.
• Maintain loan files, business account files and related documentation per loan policy and security procedures.
• Resolve routine problems with members’ loan accounts referred by members or branch staff.
• Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff for a friendly and efficient work environment.
• Act as a team player by contributing to team results and partnering with Stride team members to meet members’ financial needs.
• Continue to build understanding of how Stride Credit Union assists in members' financial well-being.

In this role, you will provide loan and business account administration support to Stride’s Account Managers, ensuring seamless member service from start to finish. This position contributes to the department by completing various functions related to opening business accounts, processing mortgages, loans and lines of credit, while following all regulations.

What you’ll get to do:

• Provide administrative support to the Ag & Commercial lending team ensuring all files are complete and security is in place as required. This includes managing follow-up, processing registrations and discharges, and the set-up and maintenance of payments, among other duties.
• Maintain loan files, business account files and related documentation while adhering to loan policy and security procedures
• Resolve routine problems with members’ loan accounts referred by members or other branch staff
• Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment
• Act as a team player by contributing to team results through listening, spotting opportunities and partnering with other Stride team members to best meet our members’ financial needs
• Continue to build a strong understanding of how Stride Credit Union assists in providing financial well-being to our members

Training will be provided to ensure you have the skills needed to be successful. This position can be based out of various Stride locations, however a 4-6 month training period will require some regular travel to Portage la Prairie.
