Job summary

Purolator in Richmond, BC is hiring the PM Sorter to support warehouse operations. The role focuses on sorting and moving freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet delivery schedules, with an afternoon/evening shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

No prior experience is required, and training will be provided along with forklift and pallet jack certification. You will work in a warehouse environment, handling freight and ensuring accurate scanning of shipments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
