Job summary

WhiteWater is seeking an Industrial Designer within Development Engineering to enhance aesthetics, usability, and manufacturability across live projects. The successful candidate will bridge design thinking with engineering execution, focusing on CAD/drawing support and reusable geometry development.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in industrial/product design or development engineering, a relevant degree, and strong collaboration with engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of industrial design, product design, or development engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated balance of aesthetics, engineering judgment, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Support Development Leads in CAD development and documentation.
• Develop and refine aesthetic design solutions for new products with cohesive forms.
• Help guide early concepts toward manufacturable solutions balancing aesthetics and constraints.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to improve surfaces, transitions, and user-facing details.
• Contribute to CAD modeling, drawing development, and design documentation for project execution.
• Provide input on product appearance, usability, consistency, and manufacturability during design reviews.
